Not a medical diagnosis
BodyFix sessions may include consultation, postural exam, movement observation, and hands-on corrective bodywork. These are used to guide massage/bodywork care and are not a medical diagnosis.
Not a replacement for medical care
BodyFix is not a substitute for a physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, mental health provider, emergency care, or other licensed medical provider.
No guaranteed results
Bodywork responses vary by client, history, condition, consistency, lifestyle, and other factors. BodyFix does not guarantee specific outcomes.
Client responsibility
Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate medical care for medical conditions, injuries, severe symptoms, worsening symptoms, or concerns outside massage/bodywork scope.
SAFETY
When to Seek Medical Care First
Premium care includes knowing when bodywork is appropriate and when a medical provider should be involved.
Before booking
- Recent surgery or injury
- Unexplained swelling or severe pain
- Blood clot concerns
- Fever, infection, contagious illness
- New numbness, weakness, dizziness, or neurological symptoms
- Uncontrolled medical condition
- Pregnancy-related risk concerns
- Any symptom that feels urgent or medically concerning
During or after care
If symptoms worsen, feel unusual, or create concern, stop bodywork and contact an appropriate medical provider. In an emergency, call emergency services.
Medical clearance
BodyFix may request medical clearance, modify a session, or decline service when safety or scope of practice requires it.
Communication
Clients should communicate pressure, pain, discomfort, dizziness, nausea, emotional discomfort, numbness, tingling, or any concern during the session.

Manual Therapy and Bodywork Effects
BodyFix uses professional judgment, client communication, and scope-aware decision-making.
Possible temporary responses
Some clients may experience temporary soreness, tenderness, fatigue, emotional release, warmth, mild bruising, increased awareness, or changes in movement after bodywork.
Modalities
Services may include corrective massage, structural bodywork, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point work, assisted mobility, stretching, breath-related bodywork, or other manual therapy approaches within scope.
Contraindications
Certain conditions may require avoiding deep work, reducing pressure, avoiding an area, rescheduling, or referring out. BodyFix may modify care based on intake and professional judgment.
